The spacious cottage oozed warmth, from the crackling fireplace to the thoughtful Christmas tree. the tour by John offered a deep dive into local history, adding an enriching layer to the stay. While the lack of Wi-Fi and TV may deter some, it was a welcome respite for me, forcing a unplugged break that allowed for true relaxation. Value-wise, the absence of modern amenities might raise questions for some seeking a more connected stay. However, the exceptional location, right by a beautiful beach and with access to a picturesque terrace, compensates handsomely. the welcoming pet-friendly policy and on-site BBQ facilities add a homely touch. Overall, if you seek a retreat that veers from the standard five-star path, Fanad Lighthouse Villa offers a cozy, no-frills luxury that may surprise and delight.
